I have had extreme anxiety for nine years, and Seroquel was the first thing to touch it last summer. 25mg/day of Seroquel + 1 mg of Klonopin worked wonders for me for seven months. Then I got upset over some other stuff and have had to go up in my dosage to 400mg of Seroquel, 40mg of Paxil, and 2mg of Klonopin.
Anyway, my interest is to hear about anxiety person taking Seroquel? What did it do for you?

well yeah, I've had success with seroquel, just 25 mgs/day, but if I hit a tough patch I take .5 of klonopin or double the seroquel for a day or so...
Did you start racing? I feel racey when I've got to take more stuff.I'm sorry you've had trouble lately....
How's the sedation with the increased seroquel?

by racing, do you mean "my mind racing"? If so, yes.
When I take less Seroquel (25mg), I seem more sedated that when I am on 300mg. My pdoc said that is unlikely. Do you feel the same way?
Do you take Seroquel for anxiety or something else?
Thanks, Michael

The most I've taken is 50 mgs, and yes I take it for anxiety...it "quiets" my mind, and sometimes my mind is just moving too much and too fast
I can't comment on the feeling less sedated on significantly higher doses
I feel more sedated on 50mgs than on 25mgs...
I know it's a really small dose, but it works for me, and I want to take as little as possible....
Feel better :-)
