Hi all. Hope your doing good / better.
Im not to good, all meds keep pooping out or don't work for me.
Im starting to think I could possibly be bipolar 2 & have started on Lithium.
How can you define bipolar 2, Ive got mass Depression, Social Anxiety, General Anxiety a bit of ADD & Major Insomnia.
Perhaps the Insomnia, Anxiety and bad concerntration is brought on by mania.
Dose that sound accurate?

Hi,
I've been diagnosed BP2. I think there are many potential symptoms. My presenting one was insomnia for a year. But I was also depressed, had mood swings, irritable, used to having to "work real hard" mentally to feel like I was ok, HATED to be in groups of people I didn't know well... It was exhusting. Anyway, tried lots of different anti-depressants, then after a couple years the Dr. tried an antipsychotic and it worked! Viola! The BP2 diagnosis was born.
Now I am on an AD, an anti-psychotic and a mood stabilizer. These make a HUGE difference though there is still a lot of tweeking to do to deal with freaky side effects - nothing too drastic though.
