I was almost ready for ECT, but I'm improving!
Guys a question...when I take Clomipramine I get a strong paradoxical depression...my doctor wants me to briefly go in CLomip. to regain Nardil's mild euphoric glory!
He says I should wait out Clomipramine for 2 weeks at least....
any details/suggestions???

Good to see you back!
Sorry I haven't been more supportive, I've been having a really crap time Lately.....
Anyway as I understand it EMSAM is a form of deprenyl that can be absorbed through the skin, thats why its called a skin patch! (you can tell I'm really tired)
Any way Sellegiline/Deprenyl is an MAOI that is skewed towards dopamine, its normally used to treat Parkinsons.
Its absorbed through the skin which buypasses the gut, therefore there is no need for Diet restrictions (except maybe at high doses)
In my Opinion, and this is just my opinion I'm quite disapointed they didn't do a patch with Nardil or Parnate, the more tried and true MAOIs.
Deprenyl has a mixed reputation as an AD, still seems to work good for some people!
Hopefully I'm wrong, I've never tried it myself

Tom at the low dose would it help with anxiety/ panic? I've also heard it's an antiaging med. Love Phillipa
