Hi Jeroen!
>TomG, you family of EDUK? :)
No, not family :)
I like your site J. Great photos! I love your cat :) What language is it J? Dutch/Flemish?
>i think uni tranxene 15 mg twice a day is causing depression
It might be. Now that your anxiety has been treated with Seroxat, reducing the Tranxene seems like a good idea. You must reduce it very slowly.
Can you get the 5mg Tranxene capsules to reduce gradually? I read that you can get 5mg capsules in Belgium. At the moment, you are taking 15mg twice a day (30mg a day). Using the 5mg caps, you could start by reducing your dose to 25mg per day eg. 10mg in the morning and 15mg in the evening.
>should i call my doc
Yes, I think you should call him and ask if you can start to reduce your Tranxene dose. He will probably prescribe the 5mg capsules if you ask him. The 5mg capsules are important because they allow you to reduce your dose gradually - avoiding unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.
Take care
Ed

Hi J
>should i increase my Pm dose to 200 mg temporary for the tranxene withdrawal?
Only if the Tranxene withdrawal prevents you from sleeping. To be honest though, high doses of antipsychotics do not normally relieve benzo withdrawal symptoms, and can sometimes make them worse.

If you are worried so much about withdrawals you might try posting on the alternative board and asking for something to counter the withdrawals. Is that your kitty in the pic? It looks like mine only the hair is a little shorter. Btw, I agree with Phillipa, you are quite handsome. :)

hi, should i do it? go upto 400 mg seroquel once PM at night instead of 100 mg twice a day?
the 100 mg only once taken cured me, but after day 20 mg i got terrible withdrawal symtoms, you once said to me my dopamine is too low.400 mg PM might not cause this problem. what you think?

Hi Jeroen
The withdrawal symptoms from Tranxene sound rough. Don't attempt to reduce your Tranxene dose any further for at least 2 weeks.
I think you're best taking the Seroquel as two daily doses, with the larger dose at night and the smaller dose in the morning.
