How are you being treated at the moment?
Has PTSD been ruled out?
The following link will bring you to a website that will allow you to get a better idea what the differences are between anxiety disorders. Use the "American Description". I believe it approximates the descriptions contained in the DSM.

Could the crazy pregnancy hormones be making things worse? I sorta hope so, so that things calm down once you deliver. Has your doc said anything abt that?
I used paxil for a while 1.5 yrs(?) for GAD. I had an okay experience w/ it, but it eventually wasn't doing enough so I switched. Withdrawal was a nightmare, so you should know that going into it. Honestly, I don't know that I would have started it if I knew what it would be like to try to stop it. And I say this as a person who tends to be very tolerant of side effects, etc. Just something to think abt. I have no idea how CR compares.
Best,
EE
