OMG. What in the world was I thinking? the place was packed and there were too many other children the sizes of mine. And I was alone with them. Bridget jumped into the whirlpool (over her head) and not one flippin' adult sitting in there tried to help her. I managed to get there quickly but this whole scene scared the c*ap out of me and we had to leave. Poor Matthew (who has very poor vision), I practically dragged him out to the van and he tripped and skinned his knees on the curb. I still feel horrible about this! I took 1mg of Klonopin (chewed them) back at the condo and was okay 1/2 hour later. Thank God for Klonopin!!! I know that Xanax works beter for immediate relief, but does anyone have an idea about when Klonopin peaks in the bloodstream after chewing it like I did?

Oh Colleen. I'm so sorry. Peak time with K is probably about the same as if you had swallowed it, as the mouth is vascular and sublingual route - even if it's not formulated and labeled as sublingual - works when talking about Klonopin.
I know this was really scary for you and I know how this might feel like a setback...however, the way I see my situation is: this "issue" I have with anxiety and depression is chronic. It's part of me. My hope is for a good long remission but I realize there's a good chance I will have potholes every now and again - it does NOT mean I'm going back to some wrenched time because there are sporatic popups of symptoms. Yours was very justified and due to the situation and this happens to "normal" folks too...... Okay, I'll stop with the sermon you didn't ask for. I'm only sharing that in the hopes it might help and the fact I care about your status.

Klonopin's peak effect is around mmmm 1 hour, maybe 30min. It takes 15min to dissolve in stomache,
Im sorry about the water park thing next time bring some Xanax with you. ROFL

Don't get yourself down over this. ANYONE would have found themselves 'panic-stricken' seeing their child in distress. I know I would and I don't get panic attacks anymore!
Go easy on yourself for this one.

I agree with JH...you did what any good parent would have done. And to not get "Nervous" would have actually been abnormal. Pat yourself on the back, you did a good job. :}Tyler

Dont let it put you off going back to that park!Like they say about rideing a horse, get back on it.I remember staying home all week with the poor kids then going out for a walk and this stupid dog was standing ahead i the footpath, and I was terrified, shot back indoors, then stood there not knowing what to do.How can I let that stupid dog ruin everything for my kids?Well,I decided not to let it beat me,I now put catbiscuits under the pram cover,to throw at any stray mean looking dog just in case.Dont you worry,it must have been really awfull going through what you did, could imagine.Been there. Many times.
