I have been on celexa for 7 years and have steadily gained 5 to 6 pounds a year with out changing my eating habits or activity levels. Has anyone successfully lost and kept off weight while on celexa or any other SSRI. Traditional diets and exercise don't seem to work.
I have been very fortunate that aside from the weight gain and chronic bursitis I haven't had any other side effects.

I took low dose paxil for two years and never gained a pound and didn't diet I ate whatever I wanted. Fondly, Phillipa
