Just wondering if you take Lamictal in the day or in the evening and which benefits you get by taking at different times.
My dreams can be different and mood can be slightly too, depending what time I take it.
Wondering also, if anyone takes it in 2 divided doses, rather than one?
Thanks for any responses
:-)

I was at 150mg but it wasn't effective for my anxiety. So far 200mg is working and I take it before going to bed.
I have an awful time getting to sleep and take 10mg of Ambien. Even then it is an hour and a half wait. Dreams are intermittent but not usually remarkable. Now and then I'll see a celebrity in my dream; last week it was Rod Stewart. I have always had aging rock stars in my dreams.

I tried it at both times and didn't like either one! Also, Lamictal gave me bad/negative dreams which was weird. The best advice is to try it both ways and decided which works best for you.

Thats good you're finding it effective for your anxiety. For me, I kinda feel it makes mine slightly worse the more I take. Compared to other mood stabilisers I have found it good for depression, but not so powerful for anxiety symptoms for some reason.

Dreams have been strange for me too. I think a night-time dose seems to make them more sane-ish (if thats a word;) Also, I think after about 5 hours of sleep, I seem to wake up, then i sleep and wake, sleep and wake. It feel like this happens quite alot until I finally wake up properly.

Yes, I know what you mean.

Thats good advice. So far I think night time perhaps is best. Then it some side effects to deal with in the morning and the rest of the day gets better - until the next dose in the evening lol

Me too so far aswell I think..
I was going to ask you but forgot in the last thread about the sweating side effect - Did you find that the sweating would increase the more you increase the dosage, or would it more or less stay the same with any dose?

I take 50 mg in the a.m. and 50 mg in the evening. I'm not sure why. I should ask my pdoc what she recommends. :)

It seems it can possibly be taken twice or once a day.
You may find you can take it all in one dose and reduce side effects :)
