Would like to hear from Lamictal users if you have a sweating side effect, primarily on the hands and feet?
Does this side effect go away in time?
Have you managed to come across a remedy to counter-act of this side effect? (I.e get rid of it?)
Any theories as to why Lamictal would cause sweating?
Also, I read a side effect of Lamictal is Folic acid depletion - what vitamins/minerals do you take along side Lamictal?

I have found I sweat more at night on Lamictal. Usually the whole body not specific parts.

Yes, I get more sweat overall too, I noticed it more on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. Nice lol. I think maybe its something to do with anxiety, although overall I feel my body temperature has increased so perhaps its that.
Strange side effect, hopefully it will get better with time, or maybe a dosage decrease..
I read alot of people get night sweats on www.askapatient.com under the Lamictal ratings. Mine seem to be not night sweats, but day ones..

I used to sweat on the SSRI's too. I think "maybe" it could be to do with an increase in serotonin. Only on serotonin medications eg. prozac etc have I experienced sweating similar to this - Lamictal affects serotonin - so maybe theres a link there somewhere.
