hi, i just spoke today with my doctor about the TD and cogentin, he said its same class as AKINETON and might make things worse. whats your opinion.
he also admitted Clozapine can treat and even reverse TD after 2 to 6 months but it has lot of risks as side effects, people died on this drug. he said people on where i stayed 8 months many are taking it because not respond to other drugs
he said its an option for me... but i need to get hospitalized again for this... and i dont want to go at this time there. i am much improved as you said, the magnesium and herb are making things somethimes better
i think (hope) Clozaril will cure my eyes. what should i do... im doing not bad on seroquel it is helping and i have a life, but i dont go out anymore and stuff, so i do want to risk it but when? i can get a legal prescription for Fazaclo or Clozapine witouth going to hospital, but its too dangerous so i dont wanna do that....SHOULD I TRY IT WITHIN A FEW MONTHS GET HOSPITALIZED AGAIN FOR THIS TREATMENT? LOT CAN GO WRONG... OR MAYBE THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE IT GET FIXED..... i dont know

he said its a possible treatment (cure), but im doing not bad, i wanna get back to school. i felt good talking with my doctor, and i left the hospital happy.
but strange thing is he didnt knew what cogentin is, he looked it up on google.

That's right, it is in the same class as Akineton. Are Cogentin tablets available in Belgium? Perhaps they're not, which could be why your doctor hadn't heard of Cogentin.

I wouldn't try it yet J, too many side effects. It might be an option for the future though. What do you think about my Botox idea?

ALL MY PSY DOCS SAY NO BECAUSE....
i have nystagmus (uncontrolled eye movement) and blepharospasm (only botox used for that not nystagmus)
it has improved by 35%+ id say 40%+ i think, also im ok with seroquel at this moment 100 AM and 200 PM, seroxat 30 mg, uni tranxene 15 mg (twice day), im stable, im following music lessons each week.i have ordered lecithin i will take that also twice a day. im ok at this moment, im living a life. not like before but its better... my doctor said yesterday i wont add cogentin it might make things worse... but he did agreed with Clozaril, but its a hard drug... my psy doc said Seroquel has same system like Clozaril.
should i low dosage abilify to my medicine cocktail like 5 mg or 2.5mg? maybe it will reverse the nystagmus..... BECAUSE on parts on brain where too much dopamine it will make it ok again. DYSTONIA is caused by dopamine blockage in the basial ganglia i think. i cant take more then 10 mg or i will get ugly side effects.

That's right, the Botox wouldn't help the uncontrolled eye movements, only the blepharospasm.

Me too. I've just started playing the oboe again. I used to play but I gave up.

hi eduk, im curious what my psy doc said about Clozaril. it can reverse the process maybe or treat he said but side effects :(. there is a little chance to it, but he mentioned its hardcore. diabetes and stuff.
and i need to get hospitalized again. MY WISH IS... *SNIF* to get back to my studys in september, be happy and meet new people.i ordered lecithin and i will retry it, maybe a chance it will work and no need for clozaril

i lost 4 friends because of this, 1 girl i love with all my heart, 2 best friends like soulmates just said go to hell i dont want anything to do with you anymore. its been months since i heared from them.
zyprexa 10 mg once made me 80% worse of TD the first 2 weeks i barelly could see where i could walk.
should i add abilify 5 mg? i hope it cures.... but i had eye problems too there
this is making me very upset. i dont have the courage to make new friends. i also get insulted if i feel bad

I feel for you bud. When I was 22 (i'm 47 now) the girl i was going to marry dumped me on my *ss and broke my heart while I was going through my first severe depression/ocd episode. I had to drop out of college with only a year to go and I think she thought i would never amount to anything so she dumped me and man was she COLD! Well, she was wrong because I married a wonderful women 6 years later who loves me inspite of my illness...I still have dep. probs, ocd, social phobia, and have had many bad severe dep. times in our 20 years of marriage and she stays with me and loves me thru all of these bad times. We also have two wonderful boys ages 7 and 4. The right women is out there for you I guarantee it!As far as your "friends"...those aren't good friends that would do that to you when your having problems...real friends will love you unconditionally no matter what your condition is! I also had some tics and twitches and so I know a little of what your going thru...i was always afraid someone was going to see them and i was obsessed w/ them. They made my life miserable. My pdoc said to quit worring about what other people thought ( he was right) also told me I needed to "accept" them ( easier said then done ). But, now I'm doing well on Parnate-no twitches, no dep. no ocd, no sp, finally after 25 freaking years I'm doing great. So, please don't give up! And you will find friends who love you uncondionally...like we here at psycho-babble do. :) Hey, My best friend has a tremor problem -his head shakes, and you know what he could shake and twitch as much as possible and it would not matter to me,this is true friendship. we were going to be a couple, something evil in my life destroyed that, im still trying to make it up but its 1 year 6 months now.
while i was at the hospital i saw her in love with this guy, see the love in her eyes. id like to kick his but, but look at you now, you had the power to continue, im not sure i do... im trying.all i can tell you is that you are very strong person! and im glad you found your happyness in life!!!
indeed,true friendship is accept a person who he is, she did, but the blindness coudnt survive our friendship, im so pissed, :(

You are as stong as me, Believe me there were many times I didn't think I was going to be able to take it anymore.
I forgot to mention I was coldly dumped by TWO women I loved, the 2nd was when I was 25 she knew about my problems but never really witnessed me having an "episode" well when I did have an episode Bam she dropped me ( and again she was so damn cold). I loved her and hated her at the same time. And I also saw her with her new love 4 mos. later, it broke my heart and i hated them both, but you know what, i don't know if you're a believer but I am and he continued to give me strength and He brought me the REAL love of my life, my wife. Please hang in there and feel free to contact me whenever you need to talk, i'll be here for you Jeroen, i don't really know you yet...But i can promise you this, i do CARE a lot about you very much and i want you to feel better soon!
