restarting prozac, [fatigue]

Posted by john berk on February 8, 2006, at 15:22:07

Hey Everyone,
i know prozac stays in your system quite a long time, but i was weaning down, and almost off, when i felt the need to go back on. i went directly back to my usual 20 mgs., and after 5 days, today i was very fatigued, even with extra caffiene.
should i have tryed maybe 10 mgs. a day until i get it back fully in my system, or am i just going through an adjustment period. i usually have loads of energy, this feels odd for me, thanks...john

John I hope it didn't poop out on you. The first time I was on paxil it worked great at only l0mg and after I went off it and tried it again it didnt work. I was also thinking about trying low dose prozac because of the energy it gives you. Love Jan
