Cymbalta -- Sinus Problems

Posted by katiemom on February 7, 2006, at 14:46:56

I'm taking 60mg of Cymbalta and having Sinus headaches everyday along with a pain in my nose (sharp tingling sensation). I'm wondering if the medication is causing this. I also suffer from migraines too. Has anyone had this problem too with Cymbalta.

Hello
I had start up headaches from Cymbalta, and during dosage increases. I'm also at 60mg and have been at this for 5 months, the headaches decreased in severity over this time. Now I don't have any at all.

They weren't sinus headaches for me, and neither were they migraines, although sometimes they would worsen until they became a migraine. At which point I could take 10mg of Maxalt and the headache would finally go.
But those Campral headaches are stubborn, resisted everything I threw at them.

I *do* have a sinus infection at the moment, but that's a different feeling kind of headache. Er, this is difficult. OK - a sinus headache feels like having a spike in my head. A migraine is like having too much stuff in my head (if I press my head with my hands like a ripe canteloupe it feels better for the moment). But the Campral headache is like my *brain* hurts. Like the cells in my brain are saying Owwww!
How's that for articulate?
Sorry I think this is of no help.
