I have pretty bad social anxiety disorder, which I take klonopin for....at the moment, 2mg 3x daily. It helps, but I also have extreme ADD, and I absolutely need it to do my work.
Unfortunately, Even if I take a dose of adderall (5mg), too low for me as it is, it takes my anxiety from minimal to almost unbearable. Even at 5mg! Because of this I can only take it on days when I know I can be alone and just sit and do my work.
It's frustrating because Adderall seems to really work the best for me in terms of focus, I LOVE it for that, I work like a machine. But can't take it every day like I'd want to. Is there a stim that would be better suited to the anxious people out there? Or is it just guess and check.
I've got a second part to this quesiton, I notice even on relatively low doses for me (210 pounds 6'7"), even 10mg of adderall may work for my focus for the normal amount of time (4 or 5 hours), but the anxiety from it sticks around for much much longer!
Anybody have any ideas or thoughts on this?

> ThanksAdderall is NOTORIOUS for causing anxiety because of it's L-Amphetamine component, there are other meds, talk to yr Doc.
