I take 5-10mg Adderall 2-3x/day for adult ADHD. Now at bedtime I take 50-100mg Seroquel. The atypical was added a few days ago b/c I was totally unresponsive to Lunesta and Ambien CR. Insomnia was literally driving me crazy. My therapist thought I was hypomanic or something like that...Can excessive sleep loss cause hypomania? Anyway, that's besides the point...So far, Seroquel is helping tremendously. I'm sleeping through the night. No more uncharacteristic thoughts like someone else mentioned in another post. The moodiness is mostly gone. Much less of the OCD-type obsessive worry. Less anxiety. Basically, I'm feeling more normal than I have in a long time. It's just so weird. Is this a common combo?

If your bipolar loss of sleep can cause mania. Fondly, Phillipa
