Amoxapine, an antidepressant, has now been discontinued in the UK.

shame, I was always planning to try amoxapine at some point if I had to change drugs. Buns

Still available in the US, but probably discontinued by NHS due to orphan status and expense. An old line idea like Symbyax but with far more side effects and greater risk of TD. Always was curious about this one too, but its still somewhat up there on the D2 occupation not to mention the bevy of TCA side effects.

I guess it was an old drug which wasn't marketed very well. The risk of tardive dyskinesia was also rather disturbing.

It was the first AD I ever tried. Worked well, but made my willie wimpy.
