It seems to be possible:
Any experienced user had something like this?
For me Nardil was the most potent antidepressant ever.

Hi eddy,
After my 4wk trial with onset, remaining dosage and withdrawal, I've decided to start it again and I will give Nardil a little more time perhaps over 4 months. I started with 45mg/day yesterday again. Maybe the unpleasant sideeffects will diminsh or subside by time (hopefully). I will see, on verra. If there are more sideeffects appearing I am everytime free to stop. It's really a pity I have to import the nardil (concord). I will ask them how long they will continue to produce it, or do you know something?
It's good you have your OCD under control with 80mg citalopram :-). By the way, at the moment I am just as asexual as you and I have anyway absolutely no time left for relationship. See, you are not alone. But it does not bother me. There are always more suffering people. It's good to have you as an interesting, intelligent friend here. Maybe summer holidays will be better socially (no "social" work relationship), I'll perhaps go on an netherland island.

I think that's a good idea :)

Hi eddy,
I will e-mail concord probably next week. I mail you concord's response if you're interested. I've a lot to do this time.
I have plenty of full *.pdf text files of abstracts. Perhaps I have sometimes you're interested accidentally.

Hi, Joe here. I hope this is the beginning of this discussion??? Anyway, when I started Nardil, I had the full range of side effects (sex effects). I also had nocturnal awakenings and boy was that wierd. I would go to sleep at 11 PM and wake up at 2 or 3 AM as if it was 9 AM the next day...all ready to go to work. I looked at clock and realized I had been sleeping just 3-4 hours.
But, ALL SIDE EFFECTS left within a period of time. I don't remember how long, my guess is 6 months or less. The only thing I had for more than a year, was what I called the "Nardil Buzz" I would be on the train going to work and have this very pleasant buzz-like sensation. Sadly, that one went away with time, too.
You stated something about you hoping Nardil is still available??? I don't know where you live, but it is made by Pfizer, an enormous drug company in the US. They export it around the world and it is approved by every country without exception. Joemzak

Hi Joe,
Thanks for sharing your experience, your response to the topic
Yes, Pfizer is a huge company. I am not sure if Pizer's phenelzine is available in most countries. In many countries all older MAO's are replaced by moclobemide.

Thank you. Just a note, I have tried meclobemide while I was on Nardil (to get off Nardil) but it didn't work.
Today is day 3 that I am on a 1/4 tablet reduced dosage....so far, so good! Keep your fingers crossed.

Hi Joe,
Thank you too! It's good to have experienced Nardil users here. How much is your average dosage now?-I have started with 30mg-45mg after a trial again.
Best
