I started taking 2.5 mg Abilify about 2 years ago, and found that at that dose I was very restless, and did not sleep well. My dose has been uped to 15 mg. in the am, and I don't have the restlessness that I had at a lower dose. I am taking it both as a mood stabilizer, and for its antipsychotic effects. I have not had any noticable side effects, and it has really been a great drug for me!

For me--it is my wonder drug. the trick with Abilify seems to be--start at a very low dose, otherwise it gets you too wired. At a low dose, it annihilated my anxiety. at a higher dose, it exascerbated it.....
It can be very activating.

Has Abilify had any effect on your weight (loss or gain) ?
Thanks

when I first started Abilify, I think I lost like 5 pounds, now after 2 years, I have regained that weight, and am back to my normal 125 lbs. Nothing major as far as weight gaain goes...not like Zyprexa I've heard.
