Hi Ed, how are you?
Ed I am tapering down the Risperdal. 1 mg made
feel so drugged.
Im gonna try 0.5mg some days just to see
If a feel less zombie.
I also want to try Abilify , is risperdal
doesn´t work.
Abilify is my last option. and Geodon.
I have taken all the others atypicalsMaybe Im a little psychotic. These days
on risperdal has made stop thinking about
that people wants to take advantage on me , or
to take me as a fool. It is sad but if I am
suffering from a permanet mild psychosis I guess
AP´s are gonna be in my life forever.
I really don´t care to take them forever if they made feel like a normal person. I just want that. Be a normal person , no matter what I takeI just wanted to share this with you and all

Risperdal is a very potent neuroleptic. Even for schizophrenia, the usual dose is only about 4mg/day. For anxiety, much lower doses can help. Try 0.25mg or 0.5mg next, it might help.

No change yet. I dont know if it would be good
to keep on Risperdal. I am now on 0.5mg. I have
suicide thougths. I feel abnormal. I have

Tep, I'm here and the only thing I can say is if you are feeling suicidal you need to go to the hospital, stay with parents or friends, call pdoc. But please do not hurt yourself there is always an answer. Sorry the boards have been so quiet lately. I have no idea where anyone is. Fondly, Phillipa

I think it's normal enough to think about suicide in a detached sort of how-can-I put-up-with-this way. But it's clearly not good if you are planning it.
So, 1mg Risperdal helped somewhat but made you feel drugged, and 0.5mg doesn't help so much.
What to do, kiddo??

Guys It was a nigthmare today. I feel very
bad. Its enought with risperdal. I called
my doc. He said take paxil and zyprexa.
I think Im gonna take the paxil. I know
it is a fake that is the best treatment
for Social anxiety ( besides nardil) , but
whatahell. I need more serotonin. I tried 7
years ago and didn´t work. But meds work very different after I first took zyprexa. Let´s see if there is a change in my life.Iam not sure if I have social phobia or a
pychotic disorder. maybe both

I found Seroquel and Zyprexa very similar. But Seroquel didn´t caused weigth gain on me and give me the same results as Zyprexa and with a lower dose.I am not that bad in this moment. It always happen this the next day I suspend a med. Tomorrow I dont know how will I feel

try it. My mom is on Solian + Paxil and she feels ok . However she has never felt the fear I have. My diasease is much worse than hers. She can have a "normal life". I can´t yet.Saludos amigo Edy
