Not to put anyone down.
I have so much, god, am i going to go on the edge the fear of insanity.
This is a site to discuss meds, casual, i dont know what disorder i have.
Just keep it stable, and hold on i say to myself when i get like this.
I wish i could actually talk to therpists, or psychiatrics about what i am going through. I am in a position where i can not get medical treatment.
My eyes are blood shot, i am sweating, pacing...
I am praying tonight.
Matt

Most local(county) governments have a community service agency that will see you for little or nothing. They can get your drugs for free using the drug company's patient assistant services. It's worth a try----good luck.

hey! college shrinks are usually free. Plus, they're acutely aware of limited student budget and tricky insurance situations, so they're good at RXing for cheaper meds, hooking you up with samples (one doc gave me a pharmacy style stock bottle of depakote ER--100caps, I believe...and a free 1-month fill of zyprexa), and hooking you up with programs that will help you get access to any meds you might need. If that fails...some private-practice docs use a sliding scale for payment, which can be very helpful.

No,
Im on Premium Health Care Plan with Cigna. Its just my mom. She will not take me to the doctor, she cancels visits, becuase it is on her insurance. She has a personality problem.
I have told this so many times.
I have fine drug coverage, i take many medications.
But the problem is that i dont respond and my mom goes haywire when i mention it.You know i tell myself where going to keep it together. Thats all i can do. And pray.
I right now am stuck, i have to get a job with medicare, that is going to be hard being a part time student. I dont want bad insurance, being just a number.... i dont think so.
Just, ill post back. I dont know what to say

If you are legally an adult, you can make your own decisions, even if on your Mom's insurance. You can take yourself to the doctor. This is a boundary issue. Do not let her make medical decisions for you. Do not let her make or cancel your appointments. Instruct your doctors that if she calls, she is not to be given any information about your care and is not to make or cancel appointments. You have the right to privacy for your healthcare. Your mother will get the benefit statements regarding any claims filed on your behalf, since she is the policy holder. However, if you have another address, you can request the insurance carrier send these to you at that address. Even if they go to your mother, she cannot interfere with your medical care. She could choose to drop you from her insurance. That is something to negotiate.
Part of becoming an adult is setting and maintaining effective boundaries with parents. I have faith in you that you can set this boundary with your mother.
Good luck!

> This is a site to discuss meds, casual, i dont know what disorder i have.If you feel pain in your brain, you have a psychiatric illness. It may very well be the case that you don't suffer from any DSM criteria disorders. This is not important. Feeling better is.

I am in a position where i can not get medical treatment.Have you tried every psychiatric med, every psychotherapeutic method? I bet you havent, so you are not being rational by propounding "I am in a position where I can not get medical treatment" Unless you are talking geographically.

How do you get on so many meds if your mom will not let you see the doc ?You do not need your moms approval to see a doc, even if you are on her insurance, once you are 18.
