Speaking of head injuries, it
occurred to me that women who have
a difficult delivery or complications
may actually suffer a small stroke
(or as it is called in the medical
jargon: "intraventricular hemmorhage");
that would be consistent with depression
as a result of brain injury. There
are many undecided theories about the
cause/causes of post-partum depression,
but that is one of them.
