Starting Tolvon tonigth. (no faith in thiis drug)

Posted by Tepiaca on November 3, 2005, at 13:31:32

Im gonna buy the Tolvon tonigth, and Im gonna
start it rigth away. I have been feeling
very bad. It is not depression but fear what
do not let me be a normal person.
Anyway Im sure Im gonna return soon to Nardil
I have the feeling that this drug is gonna
do Nothing. It only works on Noradrenaline
and a little bit on serotonine. I believe
I have also a dopamine disfunction.

I feel very abnormal in this moment. I am performing very bad at job. In this moment I cant
even say hello to people. I still miss my girl.
how cold I recover her If I dont have health.
This makes me feel very bad.

Dear Tepi

You could start by taking 10mg mianserin (Tolvon) in the evening eg. at about 9 o'clock. Mianserin is often very sleep-inducing so it's best taken in the evening. The dose can be increased gradually as required. 30-90mg per day is the usual 'maintenance' dose.

I really hope mianserin helps your anxiety and depression.

Saludos

Hello Tepiaca

Sorry your finding things difficult.

You're already thinking of going back to Nardil?
Maybe you could take this opportunity to look around at other meds and combinations, things you couldn't try whilst on an MAOI. You've probably tried many, but there are probably many more. And it'll be much easier the tweak around with Dopamine agoninsts than if you were on Nardil. Of course try the Tolvon first, you might as well, then go from there.

Whatever you feel is best.

Take care
teck

I didn´t start taking mianserin Ed. Im still on
25mgs of Seroquel and 0.5mgs of klonopin.

why?? , I dont know , I guess I still want to find out how I managed myself to stay 2 months wihtout Nardil and nothing bad happened (until I lost my girl). Today was not a bad day.

It is rare, but with less medicine I feel more alive. I can watch movies and cry when I see something sad. I couldn´t do that on Meds.

The problem starts when I start to interact
with people. Why is so difficult??

SALUDOSSSS
TEPI

Hi teck ! .
Yes, although I have no idea what to do next.
Im thinking in Stimulants, but I have read alot
of post here that say they poop out very often.

Yes, first tolvon and then lets see how I feel
on it and what is my reaction.
I tried Effexor once, in some way is similar to mianserin rigth?. Only that mianserin target more Noradrenaline , and Effexor more Serotonine.yes?
Effexor did little for my social fear

I remember that the first drug in my life that helped me was Zyprexa (when I was 17, after 2 years of trying meds with no succes) . It helped with my depression.

Then I changed to seroquel, because Zyprexa made me a Pig. The seroquel worked very well. It was also the first drug that helped me to control my fear.

After that I stayed aways of APS because of the fear of TDiskinesia. I started again SSRIs, and they helped me, i dont know why, (in the past before Zyprexa they didn´t, )

then wellbutrin, effexor, mmmmm and finally Nardil
the best of all,

anyway no med has gave me all that I need to be a normal happy person again.

I feel lost in this moment. I dont know if I have a reason to live in this condition. This mental problems are so difficult. Why me??

keep in touch. Ill do it

I know what you mean Tep, I feel a bit numbed with meds too. The thing is, once you start to feel better with meds, you can interact more with other people, so overall you can have more fun .......and less suffering.

Saludos!!!!
