> 6 days ago i had such severe fatigue, i was sleeping 14+ hours daily. I was on 300mg Effexor XR(up from 225 for 3 days)and struggled to get out of bed each day and i have a 10 month old! I went to get bloodwork done and ended up getting samples of Wellbutrin XL to add to my Effexor XR. I started at 150 WB that day and Tuesday went bk to 225 Effexor and 150 WB. I saw my Pdoc on Thursday and he upped the WB XL to 300mg w/ my Effexor AND ordered all my blood work so that my ins. wld. cover 100% of it! I have had my old energy back BUT it seems that around 5-6pm, my body wants sleep rt. then. I think it may be a period where the meds.(even though they are extended release) taper off a bit. Could this be accurate?? And for those of u on Effexor w/ severe fstigue, talk w/ ur doc. about a combo. It is nice to feel....alive?!

It's great you found something that works for you! I have heard that the Effexor and Wellbutrin combo was a potent mix. I think that the drop in energy around 5:00pm may just be part of many people's daily cycle. Keep us posted!

Hey PJ! Yeah, that is when i am exhausted and usually do sleep an hour or so but wake up and am ready to go? It is so bad that i have had to put Jaden in his crib, put in Blues Clues and lie down in his brothers bed a couple times. I am rt. next to him and he loves being able to watch his favorite but it is not normal??? Hopefully the blood work or cat scan will help.
