About 1 year ago i had a rage on Zoloft 150mg, i knocked my dresser half across the room, shartered my window with a barbel. And was about to kill myself.
SSRI at that time made me agitated, becuase i felt that something wasnt stimulated. I was sedated back and I got angry and responded with anger.
Can too much serotonin have these effects, or trigger a manic attack.

I don't know the exact reason, but I do believe that for some people certain SSRIs can cause rage.
I can only take Prozac - I need the long half life of it, perhaps because I am quick to break down medicines.
I cycled on Paxil, Zoloft and Effexor - up and down - brain zapping - the whole works. I think it was Paxil that made me feel enraged and I am not an angry sort of person.

Yes, SSRi's can definately invoke rage sometimes. Activation of the 5-ht2c receptor can sometimes cause agression by inhibiting activity in the frontal cortex.
MAO-A knockout mice (basically mice with no MAO-A to eat up serotonin and norepinephrine) haver higher levels of serotonin and norepinephrine and are particularly agressive.
There is a link but it is not clearly established.
