Hey Matt, I was on prozac for awhile, I think it was mildly stimulating - I had to go off it because it made my aniexty worse. I remember the side effects were hell, and it made me suicidal. Can't really say I had any positive experiences on it.
I hope it works for you! :o)
What else are you taking?

Matt, I have to agree prozac can be stimulating. But it also comes in liquid so you could take a tiny dose. Fondly, Phillipa

I take 80 mg. Prozac. It doesn't do much of anything except take away my desire for sex.
The clonazepam (aka Klonopin) is an anti-anxiety and sleep medication. I used to take it.

I've been taking Prozac (major depression) for almost 2 months. Now I take 10mg/day but it used to be as low as 5 mg every other day. I've been on 10mg/day for about 2 weeks now. I'm pretty sensitive to most meds so thats why the dose is low. I think its starting to work pretty well. I have found the side effects to be pretty minor compared to Celexa and Lexapro, which I took in the past. The sexual dysfunction isn't even noticeable now, but I take Damiana and Tribulus to help with that. Tribulus is very effective (I'm a guy btw). The only other side effect I've noticed is I'm kinda drowsy sometimes (which is ironic i suppose since most say its stimulating). I'm pretty happy with it.

Yeah it is a generic. It's made by PAR Pharmaceuticals and comes in 10 mg scored tablets.

Hi, I switched from lexapro becasue of extreme muscle pain. I'm now taking 40 mgs. of prozac ...it makes things more interesting in that I find that if I forget to take it or just try doing without I start heading into an all-to -familiar cycle of depression. At least I get my butt up out of bed and do things I once enjoyed. I've been diagnosed as bi-polar II or whatever it's called. I really enjoy being hyper but I seem to worry my family. I think they prefer me quiet and docile. cockeyed.
