> bpsHey BPS.
You might be experiencing a mixed state. Lithium might be acting as an antidepressant, but doesn't always treat well the manic component of BP II, mixed-states, or rapid-cycling. This leaves you with a few strategies to treat the remaining irritability and agitation.
1. Mood-stabilizing anticonvulsants
- Depakote
- Trileptal
2. Anti-manic or mood-stabilizing neuroleptic antipsychotics- Zyprexa
- Seroquel
- Scott
