I find Zyprexa to be somewhat energizing and promoting clearer thinking. Everyone is different, of course, but I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about it. If it ain't the right drug for you, move on. I do like the idea of combining Prozac and Zyprexa. However, I'm not a big fan of Symbyax - or any other combination preparations of antidepressants + antipsychotics. Why sacrafice the ability to fine-tune one's dosage of both drugs independently just to allow the taking of one pill instead of two? If you find that the combination brings you significant relief of depression but at a cost of persistent somnolence or cognitive side effects, you can always change to taking Prozac separately and add another neuroleptic that might not produce the unwanted side effects.See what happens. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Good luck.

Thats what I say. See if the drugs can put you in the right ballpark, then if you do see some improvement then you can fine tune.
