Yeah, I think a lot of people find that to be a hard side affect to deal with.
I dunno if there is anything that can be done...

Yeah. Its funny cause you'd think that depression would make you lose your sex drive more than medication would make you lose it.
I dunno...

Cool! I'll start the wellbutrin! :) How bad did it makes your temper? Did it make you angry? Or more inclined to be vocal about it? I do not know what the hell is wrong with me. I was on Paxil several years ago for anxiety and HATED it. I have been on Lexapro for the past year and a half, and I dont think it's really doing anything - I don't have crushing debilitating anxiety attacks anymore, but I can't say it did anything for my blue mood and feelings of doom and hopelessness. I basically felt like a black-and-white 2-D version of my former self. I just stopped taking it last week, cold-turkey like a dumb-*ss. I feel like I am about to jump out of my skin. Hopefully this is the worst of it - I'm going to lose my job if I continue to burst into tears in meetings for no reason. Oh, friends! But how wonderful it was to cry!!! I swear it has been years, and some pretty horrible things have happened, and yet, not a tear. I've heard either good things or no-improvement things about wellbutrin, but never anything about temper. I've had some serious impulse control issues, and am very afraid to start taking anything new, so the temper story worries me. The only times I've been hospitalized (51-50) and self-sabbotaged has been WHEN I've been on medication. All things considered, I'd prefer to have some sence of self-control and a sex drive and deal with the anxiety and paranoia and depression, rather than be a sweaty, chubby, sexless bore. What do you think?

> hey-ive never heard anything medically related to wellb causing the temper issue but i havnt looked into it in detail. i just know that diff. chemicals can affect people diff. ways and there is no serotonin in wellb. i have a bad temper anyway so i cant say 1 way or the other if wellb contributed 2 the increased outbursts. i do know that i was not on my klonopin while on wellb and w/ any of the other meds ive been on, i have taken the klonopin so that could possibly be the reason b/c the klonopin mellows me out and keeps me calmer. while trying wellb again im going to be on my klon. so i may get better results. i'll let u know.-take care
