Anyone know of any dr in Minnesota doing rTMS off-label?

I only know of a doctor in Chicago and the one in Atlanta. I know there is some company doing clinical trials on rTMS at different testing centers around the country. Perhaps one of those is in Minnesota?

Thanks, Ravenstorm; I am aware of the dr in Chi and the one in ATL; I also know that Mayo Clinic (in Rochester, MN) is participating the the NIH study of rTMS...I would favor that but afraid my wife--who is the victim of the depression--wants the real thing and that cannot be assured in the study.

Here's the URL for the company that's testing rTMS: http://www.neuronetics.com/
They've been advertising the clinical trial on NPR. I'd do it but people who haven't responded to ECT are excluded.Ilene

Could she take time off to get treatment in Chicago or Atlanta? Its five weeks out of the rest of her life, I think it would be worth it.

Thanks, revenstorm & Ilene. I do plan to follow up on the Mayo clinical trial - she HAS responded to ECT but is really very frightened of doing more and the side effects are many and unpleasant. I also plan to contact the dr in Chicago area.
Remain open to further suggestions from anyone, anywhere. Thanks.

I tried to get in the clinical trials and was told if I didn't get the real deal the first time around, I WOULD get the real treatment after that. I was disqualified because of my EKG.
