Ok - I like Wellbutrin (150 mg) and I am also taking 75 mg of Effexor XR. But the Effexor (while it keeps me even and takes the edge off Wellbutrin) is giving me sexual side effects.
My doc says I should think about increasing Wellbutrin to 300 mg.
I think maybe I should get off Effexor and take something for the anxiety that Wellbutrin gives me.
Any suggestions? Would Buspar or Klonopin be good to take the edge off Wellbutrin?

I think that they both would work for that. Try the Buspar first since it doesn't cause tiredness.

150mg of Effexor and .5mg Klonopin daily. I don't have much of a problem reaching climax, but my desire to have sexual relations with my husband are not what they used to be. Wellbutrin actually caused daytime drowsiness for me and I dropped it. I am doing very well with combo I'm on now and I think the key to my relief from anxiety is the Klonopin.Good luck!

Hi there
I haven't taken either of these things, but I would consider reducing the Effexor slowly a bit, and then if the Wellbutrin was a problem with anxiety, reducing that a bit as well, trying to keep a balance.

> DeclanMy doc wants me to go up to 300 mg of the Wellbutrin and stay at the 75 mg of Effexor. I'm not really sure what to do. If I get off the Effexor then I will have anxiety. Kinda scared of dosing up on the Wellbutrin.

Effexor made me very anxious. Only lasted on 37.5mg a week. Fondly, Phillipa
