Hi,
I've read about this trial in Canada where they performed DBS to the anterior cingulate of 6 people and 4 of the 6 responded really well. I know probably a few of you on here have heard of this trial as well.
Anyway, are they doing any more trials with this does anyone know or is that it now for another 5 years or so?

I am interested in this as well, I have found the doctor and hospital that did it so you might want to contact them and see if they are doing more trials.

Denise,
I am doing pretty well at the moment but I was seriously looking into it for my sister at one point. She has had no success with anti-depressants, all of them, except she is reacting to Selegiline and Phenylalinine. She now has a full time job and is doing better although she still struggles. Have you tried quite a few meds? If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know,

Hi,
A friend and my mum said there was a programme on the telly this morning about Deep Brain Stimulation. Apparently they'll soon be running trials in the UK. My friend said the university in Bristol will be running the trials so if anyone in the UK is interested I'd contact them. I might do so anyway.

Thanks Mogger, Well at least I've got the Zyprexa which always helps me but I'm not particularly stable.
But I'll continue to try everything that is out there.
