Does anyone know of any studies with...

Does anybody know of any studies exploring the combination of atypical anti-psychotics with valproates, perhaps at different dosings?
(even better would be a study specifically with seroquel and depakote for bipolar II)

I know this is a very common combination. I will look for some studies.

not sure if desipramine is an anti-pyschotic, but I was on a combo of depakoate and desipramine a while back. It worked while I was on them, but when I tried to go back on after not using them for a few years, it wouldn't work for me again....

I don't know of any studies that have looked specifically at that combination for bipolar II. The studies that I've linked to below are your best bet at the present time (the first involved Seroquel aka quetiapine).
