After reading some of the other posts, I am beginning to think that part of my difficulty sleeping is the lamictal dose in the evening. I currently take 150mg in am and 150mg in pm. It has really worked as a mood stabilizer. Question is can I take the whole 300mg just in the morning? My pscy. is currently in China so I can't ask her. Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, I think it is marketed to just take once a day. How long have you been taking it 2x/day? Did your pdoc ever mention why she wanted you to do it that way?
Also, if you switch to once per day, you should make sure to do it so you don't end up taking an extra 1/2 dose. Skip a dose instead.

The sample pack of Lamictal for bipolar says to take once daily. The sample pack for seizures says to take twice daily.
This is the end of the thread.
