I feel exhausted and I think it is the Luvox, not the depression. Has anyone felt this? Will it go away as I adjust to it? Also, I have a terrible backache. Is that a side effect or maybe still a withdrawal from Lexapro?

When I took Luvox I didn't have any side effects. It didn't make me tired either. As a matter of fact, at one point I thought I was hypomanic, but the pdoc said I didn't know what it felt like to be normal. Fondly, Phillipa

Luvox made me so tired and out of it that my room mate wouldn't let me leave the house. She was afraid I was going hurt myself. I can't tell you if it wears off because I wasn't on it long enough. But it was the most sedating SSRI I ever took.

Maxime, How many mg's were you taking? They started me at 50mg once a day, then twice a day, then upped it until I was on 250mg. And I was taking ativan and chloral hydrate too. This is so wierd. Fondly, Phillipa

Luvox made me sleep 10 hours and then take a nap in the middle of the day.

I don't remember. Luvox is known to be very sedating.

It might just mean you react differently to certain meds. It happens all the time. Some people get sleepy on Effexor, others get totally wired.
