Are "mail readers" welcome. I can't type fast enough to keep up in a chat.
Thanks

Where do you want to chat ? Here ??
I'm bored myself, I am on a night shift, so I need to stay up the whole night by myself. Talk about depressing.

Link, Crazychick uses MSN. She wanted to chat with me, I couldn't keep up. Sorry Crazychick. But Babble is always an option. Fondly, Phillipa

Don't have MSN right now, and it's not my computer I am using so I cannot install it.
Sorry :(

I know with the popularity of the group a chat room seems great, however i was in a situation where we had a fast paced crowded group, and opened chat thinking it would be excellent, well if you think its difficult to read posts here in time and take in all the posts from varying topics imagine real time chat,it was a mess topics flying everywhere. If there is a chat room i personaly think there would need to be heavy moderation to keep topics in order and prevent just a big mess of chatting. Its simply to many topics and to many people for a chat room to contain.I seen it first hand.

Hi folks. I've chatted on Babble Open several times. Most of the time there is no one there (um, not that I stay and chat with myself...at least not very long...:)
Anway, I've also experienced very busy chat rooms, and I agree it can be very hard to keep up.
Babble Open is very small, and if you wanted to have a chat as Tampagirl requested, it likely would just be a few people. It's almost like IMing. Open used to be busier and more popular, but even then, I have never seen more than about eight people in the room at any one time. It's usually just two or three.
You can connect to Open from the link at the bottom of the page. You need a yahoo ID to register.
