i noticed that on that "psychiatric and associated medications" chart they are listed as having dopamine reuptake ability. which is better and at what doses is the dopamine reuptake inhibition active?

I think zoloft is more dopamine active

Dopamine is only involved in the highest dosages of Effexor and, at that point, only in small amounts.

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question. Based on my own personal experience, however, Zoloft was LESS likely to produce the apathy and amotivational syndromes characteristic of SSRI's and, as you probably know, dopamine (or the lack of it) in certain parts of the brain can affect motivation. When I was on Effexor, I did absolutely nothing. I was a total blob on that drug.

No link to Dopamine is listed anywhere in the medical filed I have looked at, but I do feel that it has an effect on it nonetheless.
