I think psychic anxiety is mental anxiety, where somatic anxiety is physical anxiety.

Hi, Donna. Linkadge has it right: psychic = of the psyche/mind; somatic = of the soma/body. Greek, unless my brain has truly fried ;-)
Psychic anxiety would be those thoughts racing through your mind that get you all keyed up, worrying about something. Somatic anxiety are all the physical symptoms that can come with or without the mental aspects: pounding heart, difficulty breathing, et cetera.
I do hope that things are going OK for you, dear. This place just ain't the same without you.

We have a new computer. We just got home and forgot to stop at the grocery store. It is 8:l5pm here right now, and we haven't even eaten yet.
