Well im now starting to notice its anti-mood side effects, it calms a bad mood, but then it makes everything not intresting, see what im saying.
I take Lorazepam 3mg (1mg 3X daily) 1mg is ok, but it still makes me apathetic.
It defineltly is not for depression, well certain types maybe in my case. Irrtible-type maybe.
Xanax does improve mood i;ve heard but im not going to go there, becuase i have heard WITHDRAWL is horrible.
Clonazepam i used to take was acutally more relieving in a bad mood, not "numbing". Just ease off. Ativan seems to act as a anti-psychotic/ moodstabilizer.
Its ok, i do approve of it. But not *some of the side effects that may dont effect other people.
Does anyone know what im talking about?

Yes I totally know where you're at. Honestly even xanax at 1.5mg caused the same feelings. The benzo's in general are bad for many people with depression. That instant relief is followed sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly by a worsening of symptoms for me.
I want off of my clonazepam.

I just want to know why I become depressed so easily. As for ativan, I once took 5mg a day. My main symptom was anxiety so all it did for me was calm me down. Fondly, Phillipa

Why not an benzo-anti-depressant combo? Is pretty common I hear, am doing it myself right now.

I take ativan every nite at bed time. it helps me sleep.It does not make me depressed. I know what that feels like,

It might have been the dose I took of it. But it made me more amnesic than the other benzos.
