Hey Mitch/Anyone,
I am still pretty flat with lithium, zoloft, wellbutrin and klonopin. I try substituting amantadine for wellbutrin and this did not provide me with any "social effect". Wellbutrin is great for focus and energy, but leaves me slightly anxious and introverted. Neurontin helped, but more in a "punch drunk" "immature" social way. Nardil was the best, but maybe hypomanic on it.
What have you found is helpful for "normal" sociability (I am not looking to be the best saleman on earth, just comfortable with everyday conversation ... maybe even more assertive at work and play)?
Thanks as always
Smith

> SmithHi, I still think having the WB in the mix is likely the root of the trouble. Yeah, I found WB to be really motivating (get stuff done), and yes it does pair up with an SSRI really well... but I had over the top panic, generalized, social, you name it anx. on the stuff. You just mentioned "Nardil as the best..". Perhaps drop the WB, swap the Zoloft for Nardil..? Or if you are needing help with motivation.. Parnate? How, all that would square with your lithium I'm not sure. It sounds like the MAOI might be better. I've no experience with MAOI's though-no anecdotal stuff to relate. I've mulled the thought of simply taking an antimanic (Depakote in my case) + low dose of MAOI for bipolar and panic. I like the simplicity of two meds :)
This is the end of the thread.
