Jeroen, I'm glad you're getting help, and it's nice you can go home on the weekends. I know you're scared, but try to listen and do what they tell you to do. I think it will help. Have you asked the docs about the blinking and TD? Fondly, Phillipa

Hi J,

>insomnia, energy (i hope not too much)
diziness, a bit euphoria also i think.......

Try taking the amantadine first thing in the morning to reduce the risk of insomnia.

>also my psy doc put me on Clorazepate.....

Is it helping your anxiety? Tranxene might also reduce your blinking. What dose are you on?

>any danger combining clorazepate with
amantadine?

No :-)

Don't worry, if you do gain weight on Zyprexa there are other treatments as well as amantadine that you can try :-)

Dear Jeroen,

I think you're back in hospital now. I think you have computer access though so you'll be able to stay in touch :-)

How much do you weigh? Perhaps you need to change your diet. What is the food like in hospital? If you are very overweight you could try orlistat (Xenical)- you'll still need to eat a healthy diet though!

I hope there are some nice people in hospital. Perhaps you will be able to make some good friends there :-)

Kind regards,
Ed.

I didn't know you could have computer access in the hospital. Not in the States, at least not anywhere near me. Yes, post us Jeroen. Fondly, Phillipa

i dont like it at all, my main worry is zyprexa weight gain that i want to counteract with amantadine, but it cause psychosis in some cases

i spoke with my doctor (not bob haha) but to add amanatadine he said it wont help

also gluchopage, he said too risky experimenting with diabetes medicine

then theres seroquel who appear the only medicine where i start feeling good, but makes me psychotic but i only took it at evenining oncee a day

heavy sedation, cant function in life

Sorry you don't feel any better. I think your pdoc is right about the glucophage. You don't want to lower your bloodsugar and feel more anxiety. It's only been a week, right? Fondly, Phillipa

Time goes so fast. I didn't realize it had been so long. I'm really sorry you feel so bad. I keep hoping you will feel better. You seemed to be for a while on the seroquel and when you were researching alternative ways. How is your online gambling idea working out for you? Fondly, Phillipa

Are you on any medication to treat your anxiety? It sounds like you're having panic attacks, I do not think you are psychotic. I think you were taking Tranxene, are you still taking it? What dose?

Regards,
Ed/

I would imagine that your doctor has prescribed Tranxene to prevent panic attacks. I hope you have a better week this week :-)

hi, i gained 5 kilos on zyprexa
eye symptoms have improved im on 10 mg zyprexa

its time to add amantadine, i cannot discuss it with my own doctor because he doesnt want adding gluchopage to zyprexa to prevent weight gain

if the amantadine causes psychosis in me, then im dead....

i dont wanna gain weight just be myself

now that i am in hospital i can say bout seroqueel

but they put me on high dose 400 mg wich will make me a total zombie

or should i try SOLIAN first?

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, ALL I NEED IS A WEIGHT GAIN STOPPER FOR THE ZYPREXA :(
