Is there a good "downer" that would work effectively with Wellbutrin to curb the excess anxiety? I'd REALLY like to be able to use it for it's libido enhancing and appetite-decreasing properties, but it makes me crazy every time. I keep thinking maybe I just haven't found the right drug to mix it with. I've never been on anything other than SSRI's. Can anyone reccommend a good combo for me? Thanks.
P.S. Please see my above post for more detailed information on my current state of mind.

Actually, I had to take Valium when I was on Wellbutrin. After several years my pdoc finally decided he didn't want to prescribe Valium anymore, but the other things he suggested didn't work as well. I usually had to take something to help me sleep, too.

I'm taking 3 mg of Klonopin with my 300 mg of generic Wellbutrin. Too soon to see how it will work in the long run.

Hi! Just curious as to why you added the Klonopin. I am taking WB SR and Lexapro - Lex makes me so sleepy and after 6 months of this combo, I am looking for a way to get rid of my sleepiness (which leads to general dysfunction in my daily life!), but not lose the anti-depression effects of the Lex.

Wellbutrin doesn't make me anxious.
