When it happen somethng happened to my brain. I got heart pounding anxiety and panic attacks..with depression. First the Drs. put me on Remeron..Then added Paxil then Seroquel..All give me dry mouth and I clinch which doesn't help because my mouth is the problem...Well my mouth and brain! I'm really not doing much better except the heart pounding anxiety is not as bad. Does anyone know what I can take that doesn't have these side effets as bad. I went to many dentist before I found one that said they would try to help me. THis is so crazy I can't beleve this is happening to me..It has been over 6 months

It was a porcelain crown with metal under..I have mercury fillings. My neurosurgeon said it could be cyst on the brain and wants to give me a eeg and mri. It has really been a strange deal.
Thanks for the reply.

The clenching is probably mostly from the Paxil. I had that too when I took it. The dry mouth is probably mostly from the remeron.

At six months, I think it is fair to say these meds are not the right ones for you. Where to go from here though, and what to consider switching to, could be challenging.

If I were in your shoes, the first thing I would do is start tapering off the remeron. At the same time, increase the seroquel a bit if you need help with sleep. Get it down to 2 meds and then re-assess what to do next.
