What side effects have those of you who are taking or have taken risperdal notice the most? Is constipation one of them? What about sensitivity to light?

For me after the first 7-10 days it was sudden fatigue spells --hard to describe, but it would suddenly wipe me out and felt sort of sick...not exactly dizzy, but standing and walking were hard. But I was only on it for 3 weeks, maybe it would have faded.

Nary a one. But I was only on .25 mg or something.
It did reduce my appetite a bit.

on .5 it actually increased my appitite and i doubled how much i smoked/day. but higher (2mg) was better. some light headedness.

Lactating that was my major problem, not even pregnant, been off more then 6 months and still have this problem.

the only side effects I got from risperdal was increased sex drive and a very out of it, vacant mind state. Buns

I'm not sure I'd notice a vacant mind state in myself. :)
I did find it rather energizing.

For me it was edema and then lactation. I could not even put on my shoes. Although considering I take a size 2 1/2 ...
