possible ADD?

Posted by krybrahaha78 on March 27, 2005, at 2:16:42

I have always wondered if i had add----i was never diagnosed by a doc or anything---but i was by a child pschologist. I have always had a hard time paying attention to things and/or staying focused. Almost like that commercial to where they say its like a tv channel switching? Anyways...i take luvox and just recently klonopin---since i have been taking klonopin i feel sharper and more attentive. Could Klonopin help ADD---i know it has no stimulant properties.

If Klonopin helps, it is higly probable that your "ADD" symptoms come from anxiety. Be prepared that Klonopin has some nice effect at the beginning which diminishes with time.

I believe Klonopin is also considered to be a mild mood stabilizer as well so that might explain why you are benefitting from it.

It definitely tends to "calm" people down ( i think it does the opposite to me however).

Good luck!
