Geodon side-effects?

I've been taking Geodon 40 mg for four straight days now, and now read about some scary side-effects: diabetes, for example. Is this something I need to worry about after four days? Is there anything that I may have done to my body taking this medication for four days? Slightly scared suddenly.

Btw, does this also affect cognition. I'm fumbling with words, feel a bit spaced out, etc.

Finally, I feel kind of nausous. The ziprasidone?

If I quit taking this stuff, how long would I need to wait for it to be completely out of my system.
