Hi,
I have been having joint pain lately and the only thing that seems to help is Motrin (Ibuprofen), but I take Lexapro, Remeron, Trileptal, and Klonopin.
I have no liver, Kidney, or stomache problems. I am 28 and other than the Anxiety, Depression, and OCD am in good health.
Tried looking on the web for drug interactions but it gave me conflicting information.
Just want to know if it is safe to take the Motrin with these meds.
Any info be appreciated.
Thanks,
BRC

I don't know but I would call your local pharmacist and ask. They love to answer those kind of questions.
And for the record, do you think your joint pain could be related to any of your meds?
When I took Lexapro, I would wake up in the morning and my elbows and shoulders would ACHE so badly as if somebody hit them with a baseball bat.
Coincidentally, after I quit the Lexapro, the aching stopped.

I think you can. Just don't take it on an empty stomach. Fondly, Phillipa

Here's a cool web-site that allows you to put in your medications and see what interactions there are.
This is the end of the thread.
