are you americans? i am assuming. i don't hear of luvox being rx'ed up here (canada) all that often. my school doc (montreal) trotted out manerix as an option, which is somewhat related to MAOIs, but without the necessary diet restrictions and/or deadly interactions involved. i am happy with remeron/zoloft (execpt for the stimulating effect of Z, which i expect to subside), but would do luvox/buspar if the latter got the mojo working again and was a general calmative.
any ideas?

No she did not. She nodded her head when I suggested it and said zoloft was for this too. Gave me another sample, and told me to go up on the dose as high as I wanted. Of course, I know 200mg is tops. She wasn't opposed to my increasing the valium to l0mg at night if I decreased and eliminated the Chloral Hydrate. I felt I scored one with that so I'll just have to wait til next month when I see her and see what she says then. I guess I'll give the zoloft a fair trial as I've heard a lot of success stories from others I know. Really, Thanks for asking, and I'm truly happy you now have Luvox. Keep me Posted on your success. You can always Babble me if you don't want to Post it. Fondly, Phillipa

I have had much success with Zoloft (OCD) in the past - roughly 60% of my severe symptoms disappeared. I still think Luvox would be interesting instead, the stimulation features of Zoloft are a bit annoying. But this may wear off. I think you might have success with this Phillipa. it is annoying when docs take your suggestion, nod, and assert their option anyway, though. i like my doc now cause she's open to anything and takes lots of notes about the side effects. good luck with the zoloft and increased V.
