I have gone off Neurontin, I was on 600 mg, went down to 300 mg, and I am so depressed, restless, no energy, fatigue, sick to my stomach constantly, high anxiety, I have anxiety disorder.
Anyone have experience with this? Any words of comfort would be greatly appreciated.

I feel for you. I too, am currently experiencing high anxiety levels from another source, but anxiety is the most awful feeling in the World. What are you stopping the med for if it works? Fondly, Phillipa

The drug was only making me drowsy and like a robot, and I wasn't helping my anxiety. That is what it was prescribed for, my anxiety. I do have clonazepam but it is not cutting it with this withdrawal. I also take 40 mg of Celexa, not that great but helps with my mild depression.

Hey...sorry your withdrawal sucks. Unfortunately, w/d happens :-( . Neurontin is an anti-convulsant, so that's all the more reason to take tapering slooooowly...talk to your shrink/prescribing doc about maybe slowing down the tapering process a bit. Also, have you tried Gabatril? Its neurontin-esque, but I've heard other people actually say some pretty nice things about it...anyways, sorry about the painful w/d, hope all goes well. Good luck!
