Does anyone know if there are meds that promote deep sleep (Stage 4 sleep)? I have fibromialgia and believe much of my suffering is due to lack of deep sleep. I'm currently taking 1 mg clonazepam plus 15 mg Remeron. I was recently on 10 mg Zyprexa, but the pain was just as bad then as now.

Nembutal. If you have a sympathetic doctor.

Hi,
Why not up the dose of remeron... 15 mg is just an entry-level dose.. many people go all the way upto 60 mg... remeron is great for deep sleep..

Is it really? I've decided that maybe its not all W/D, but the changing of AD's and am now on 15mg remeron and 50mg zoloft. I had heard it was sedating, but all I know is that it has antihistamine effects. So, ambien and klonopin are a bad choice? If only the pdocs would listen. Fondly, Phillipa
