You can't take this if you have severe anxiety can you? I had a friend who took this cause she was staying in bed all day taking pain meds for her very damaged back. She had a bad reaction to it but I don't remember what. Fondly, Phillipa

It's called visits to a boxing gym.

It's made me feel speedy in the past. But lately I have been tossing around the idea of trying it again, wtih extra careful attention to dose. My pdoc would be amenable to it. I'm trying to see how it goes with the memantine first. But I like to have other ideas in the wings.

Better than my aerobics classes?
Maybe I'd have greater energy at a boxing gym from running away from my opponent in fear. :)> It's called visits to a boxing gym.

I 2nd the motion to Provigil. Just start really low, break it up throughout the day and watch the caffeine. If you get speedy in the beginning go lower on the dose, give it a little time and the speediness will probably fade away over a couple of days to weeks.

It's been your experience that the speediness fades? In the past I've tried 12.5 to 25 mg. Some days it was helpful and felt okay. On other days it seemed to have no effect for a few hours. Then after several hours I would get hot and flushed, worn, tired/wired, and want to go to sleep. I can try to break it up into still smaller doses.
