Don't be sorry :-) Just explain to your psychiatrist that you got confused. Keep me up to date with your progress.

i am now 5 days on amantadine

my eyes feel worse, the uncontrolled eye movements and eye blinking are worser... i am very dissapointed, but i feel better

Leponex will be my last hope, i know the weight gain is a problem but listen

i have important AXID Nizatidine from the united states

will it be a problem if i take this the first few months while on leponex? will it reduce some weight? is it dangerous?

then switch to amantadine IF the eye problem might be gone or cured?

i DO NOT WANT to live with this eye problem the rest of my life, if its like that... i am very confused right now im sorry

but i went to psychiatry today and saw a man with 1 leg, how must he be feeling????

i can tell one thing for sure, this world is doomed!

the geodon is a powerfull american drug, anti psychotic drug to feel better, WRONG!

i just read 50% who take this drug develop tardive dyskinesias, dystonia and other satan conditions that will ruin people for the rest of their lives.

I wanted a happy ending, go out with friends again, i guess god dont want me to be happy

i am starting to get taughts, the hell with everybody
my time has come!

Hi Jeroen,

>i am now 5 days on amantadine
>my eyes feel worse, the uncontrolled eye movements and eye blinking are worser... i am very dissapointed, but i feel better

With amantadine, improvement of TD will take time. The TD symptoms may temporarily get worse before they get better.

>Leponex will be my last hope.

That's just not true! There are several other treatments that may help. Did you discuss Leponex with your new psychiatrist?

>i have important AXID Nizatidine from the united states
>will it be a problem if i take this the first few months while on leponex? will it reduce some weight? is it dangerous?

Nizatidine (Axid) might possibly be helpful in reducing the weight gain. Orlistat (Xenical) may also be helpful. Do not take any more medication without your doctors advice, you may create new problems for yourself. Be sure to tell your doctor that you are taking amantadine.

>I wanted a happy ending, go out with friends again, i guess god dont want me to be happy

You still can go out with friends. What do you like to do?

Hi Jeroen,

>my doctor cant know i will take nizatidine with leponex

Why not? Your doctor might prescribe nizatidine for you if you asked. Be sure to tell your doctor that you're taking amantadine. Your doctor cannot treat you safely unless he knows what medication you are taking.

>can i take leponex, nizatidine, amantadine all together?

Yes, I think so but I am not certain.

Did you talk to your psychiatrist about possibly starting clozapine?

Clozaril

In reply to Re: To Jeroen, posted by ed_uk on January 27, 2005, at 13:11:50

Clozaril will be on of my last attempts to get better

ive tryed so much, Abilify, GEODON (tardive dyskinesia), Zyprexa, Seroquel (got strange psychotic taughts while on this dog crap)

i hope i will not develop that condition where all my white blood cells die

what are the symptoms of that?

i have a question, i had eye blinking on abilify, but i took this one a month and it went away with no tardive dyskinesia, the geodon did the same even worse, with uncontrolled eye movement and gave me TD or dystonia, i dont know wich one it is...

>i hope i will not develop that condition where all my white blood cells die
>what are the symptoms of that?

Agranulocytosis may result in infection. Symptoms of infection include fever, sore throat and flu-like symptoms.

It is possible that both Abilify and Geodon played a role in causing your TD.

i aint hospitalized, i am going 3 days a week to the hospital?

why cant they give this to me? like zyprexa

should i go to a psychiatrist outside the hospital and ask them to prescribe this for me? My psy doc sais its rule everywhere that you need to be hospitalized before they can give you leponex

I explained it that ive read leponex can treat or somethimes REVERSE the tardive dysinesia, i say why cant i try this??

i really need your advice on this... what should i do?

Hi Jeroen :-)

>i aint hospitalized, i am going 3 days a week to the hospital?

Unfortunately, you will have to be admitted to hospital if you want to try Leponex :-(

>should i go to a psychiatrist outside the hospital and ask them to prescribe this for me?

No, treatment with Leponex is only initiated in inpatients. All psychiatrists would say the same.

>i really need your advice on this... what should i do?

If you really want to try Leponex you will have to ask your psychiatrist to admit you to hospital. After you have been stabilised on Leponex you will be able to continue treatment with Leponex as an outpatient. You would probably only have to stay in hospital for a short time. When people start treatment with Leponex they sometimes have serious side effects such as very low blood pressure. It is safest to start Leponex in hospital because the nurses can monitor you closely eg. measure your blood pressure regularly etc.

Good luck!

i taught my cat was responsible for my disease, now thats a psychotic taught i never have!

this is strange, please your comments,

Hi Jeroen,

What medication has your new psychiatrist prescribed? Has he given you more Zyprexa?

If you do decide to take Zyprexa, take a low dose eg. 5mg. Don't take a high dose unless your doctor told you to.

Are you thinking of trying Seroquel again? If you do you should try a much lower dose than you took before.

Hi Jeroen,

Why would you want to combine Zyprexa with Seroquel? In terms of your blepharospasm, it would probably be more helpful for you to be on Seroquel alone. I think that you would probably experience much milder side effects from Seroquel if you started with a low dose (eg. 12.5mg or 25mg per day) and increased very gradually.

Please tell me.... What treatment has your new psychiatrist prescribed?

Ed.
